Teleport Guaranteed is a prioritised shipment with enhanced protection that ensures your cargo moves as planned. If your shipment isn’t uplifted on your booked flight due to covered reasons, we prioritise it on the next available flight — and your air freight charges will be ZERO. You also get extended insurance coverage of up to USD 30,000 per AWB and an easy claims process.

Teleport Guaranteed is automatically applied as your Product Type when you book a shipment via SmartKargo—no extra steps needed.
If you prefer, you can select the “Basic Uplift” option instead.
Coverage & Protection

Teleport Guaranteed covers shipment disruptions due to:
Aircraft type changes resulting in reduced cargo space.
Offloading due to airline decisions (e.g., weight distribution or insufficient cargo space).
Flight cancellations or reassignment without prior notification.

Port-to-port and Hub-to-hub scope of service

Teleport Guaranteed does not cover:
Shipper delays (e.g., late cargo delivery or missing documents).
Non-compliance with airline shipping conditions (e.g., undeclared dangerous goods, insufficient packaging).
Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, weather disruptions).
When an alternative flight is available but the customer refuses the uplift.
Aviation industrial actions or strikes by airline personnel
Aircraft on Ground (AOG) - situation where an aircraft is unable to fly due to unexpected maintenance issues, requiring urgent repair and parts replacement to minimize downtime.
Structural Internal System Issues or Aircraft Malfunction problems related to the aircraft’s structure or internal systems
Minimum Connecting Time (MCT) for cargo is shorter than the time required by the Airline, Cargo Carrier, or Airport Authority Guidelines for the transfer process, the cargo will not be able to be transferred to the connecting flight
Booking & Pricing

The pricing is simple and transparent.
Teleport applies a 30/30 rule:30% of the air freight fee for shipments valued at USD 300 or above per AWB
Flat USD 30 fee for shipments valued below USD 300 per AWB

Earliest Booking: 14 days before ETD, when flight booking opens
Latest Booking: Up to 12 hours before ETD, provided the flight is still open for booking

Your booking will be waitlisted and we will do our best to confirm if at all possible. We will confirm bookings on a first come, first served basis, so it is best to book as early as possible.
Shipment Issues & Handling

Over-submission (Declared Weight > Booked Weight):
Charged based on uplifted weight
Teleport Guaranteed fee not refunded
Liability only covers booked weight; excess weight uplifted on best-effort basis
If pricing tier changes (e.g., exceeding USD 300), the appropriate TG fee applies
Under-submission (Declared Weight < Booked Weight):
Charged based on booked weight
If pricing tier changes, Teleport Guaranteed fee applies based on booked weight

If your shipment does not arrive for uplift (no-show), the Teleport Guaranteed fee is still charged and non-refundable
You may make changes up until 12 hours before departure
Note: Plan ahead to avoid extra costs! If you need to cancel, do so at least 12 hours before ETD to avoid charges.

If your shipment isn’t uplifted due to reasons covered under Teleport Guaranteed:
We will prioritise your shipment on the next available flight.
The corresponding AWB will have zero air freight charges in your invoice.
No action is required from the customer.

If your shipment isn’t uplifted as planned, you will receive an email notification with the failure confirmation and updated flight details.

Yes, you can request to either remove or reinstate Teleport Guaranteed for all your future shipments by contacting your local sales representative.

Yes. If you have an existing GU contract with Teleport, the terms of your contract supersede Teleport Guaranteed. This means that any pre-agreed terms on uplift, claims, and coverage will apply instead of Teleport Guaranteed’s standard terms.
